Post passing out from the media college, I, like ever other candidate, searched for internship. The luck was not by my side. It took me 5-6 months to even grab the position of an ‘intern’. One day, while surfing the net, I came across jobsmedia.in and rest is history – Right now, I am working for NBS News, Noida as Deputy Web Editor!

Everytime my mobile rings the SMS tone and I recognize that the number belongs to JobsMedia’s alerts, I have an instant urge to open that message which is going to determine my next interview session. Let me tell you, you guys simply rock! We usually don’t get time to surf the net for job-hunting and this one is simply an awesome platform dedicated only to the media professionals.

This is far ahead of job portals like Naukri and Monster. I actually look forward to the new posts on this website and at times I get disappointed when I don’t find any update. So, ensure that there is an update everytime one logs on to the website.

I passed out from M.S.University’s Faculty of Journalism and Communication last year and since then I have been regularly accessing JobsMedia. It has been very useful to keep myself as well as my other batchmates updated about media openings. I stay in Vadodara, Gujarat which is a very small town and I suggest that media openings/jobs in such small towns should also be posted on the site because not everyone who accesses this site is from metro cities. I do understand that this is a bit of a task but I would appreciate if you keep in mind my suggestion.

Otherwise, JobsMedia is among the best sites for those hunting for media jobs.
