What Employers and Job-hunters say about JobsMedia

I’ve known of this site for two years and have started using it for my recruitment needs for the last six months. Every time we are on the lookout for talent, this is the first-choice website. One warning: Before sending in the job description to JobsMedia, ensure you have enough space in your inbox. The response is incredible!

— Rahul Fernandes, Product Manager, in.com – A Network18 venture, Mumbai

I have tried almost every paid advertising method but the quality of response you get from JobsMedia is unmatched. Thanks for the great site. Helped my business right on time!

— NiCK Carty, CEO, CartyStudios Corp, Chennai

I am delighted with JobsMedia.in — the site is focused, is professionally administered and clearly reached out to quality career-seeking media colleagues. Within 48 hours of posting, I received over 100 good replies. With no hesitation, I recommend JobsMedia.in.

— Nick Mackie, Chief Content Officer, OWOO Asia Holding Ltd

We had a requirement for a marketing position for which we needed a candidate with at least one year of audio visual experience and with the right attitude and confidence to take up the job. And within a day of posting, I received hundreds of resumes from appropriate candidates all over the country for which I am extremely thankful to JobsMedia. It is a very competent site and I wish it all the best.

— Vasanth G.Benjamin, Manager – Marketing Operations, Think IMC

Works better than Naukri in terms of the quality of applications. A beautiful solution for employers and job-seekers in the media alike.

- Apurv Pandit, Editor, PaGaLGuY.com.

I would say JobsMedia is the best media jobsite in India. It gave me the opportunity to work for Mail Today of the India Today Group. The best thing about JobsMedia is that the openings are relevant. I’m sure these can’t be found on any other job portal.

The site is managed by media professionals, who know the ins and outs of this industry. I have recommended this site to a lot of my friend.

Moreover, after I started my own digital agency, I posted my requirements on JobsMedia and got lots of relevant CVs. This site really rocks.

— Mukesh Marwah, Founder, PixelVJ.com.

I am a JobsMedia user since the website started in 2007 and I think it’s one of the best platforms for job-seekers. In 2007, I needed to hire freshers at CNN-IBN. I posted my requirements on this site and got 50-100 applications every day from all over India — Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, apart from Delhi. Today, too, when I need to hire journalists, I opt for JobsMedia. It’s a great help to me and other media recruiters.

— Pradeep Surin, Senior Correspondent, Dainik Bhaskar.

JobsMedia has been of great help. In response to our job posting, hundreds of candidates applied and it made our job easier in getting the right candidates we wanted.

— Nihar, Furtherance Magazine.

It is my privilege to write about JobsMedia. Three things about this website are very attractive and helpful for both employment seeker and employer. First thing: it is the only website dealing with the entire Indian media industry. Secondly, its technical specification provides matchless facilities to the job seeker. Lastly, it promptly alerts its subscribers by email. This is a matchless website for media professionals. I wish my best to JobsMedia.

— Aditya K Srivastava, Head, Audio Division, Live Mobile.

JobsMedia got me the right candidate and other aspirants for the Assistant Editor’s job for my magazine, Ggrunt I believe it’s a perfect portal for media job listings, and very simple to navigate around as well.

— Ankur Agarwal, Business Head, Audioashram.

I want to the relentless efforts of JobsMedia. It was here that I first got the information regarding a middle-management position in EXIM Bank. I would not have known about this had I not been a subscriber to JobsMedia’s email alerts.

As one of the earliest subscribers of JobsMedia today I can say with some authority that the website administrators are doing an excellent job. From a humble beginning as a blog to a full-fledged website, JobsMedia has come a long way. The information on the website is extremely useful. I wish the site administrators the very best in their endeavours.

— Swarup Chakraborty, Corporate Affairs Group, Exim Bank. Swarup had been a business journalist for five years with two well-known business dailies.

I’m super thankful to JobsMedia. I landed a new job via the website. My new workplace is a fantastic one and I’m lucky to have stumbled upon JobsMedia. Terrific work guys, keep it up!

— Sonali Shah.

JobsMedia.in has been very helpful as it focuses on media jobs, unlike other portals that have too many listings, mostly vague or incorrect. Also, this portal is comprehensive and easy to use. I was able to get two solid leads from the website within a few weeks.

— Kaveri Nandan, Senior Sub Editor, Businessworld.

I find JobsMedia convenient – it’s well-organized, simple, interactive and accessible. It stocks opportunities with the biggest names in the media business, with insider insights too. I particularly like that these guys know that especially in the media, it’s never just a job — it’s an opportunity.

— Amulya Shruthi, Copy Writer, McCann Erickson.

JobsMedia is the most amazing media jobsite I know. It is a one stop shop for all kinds of media jobs. Their job postings are relevant for both entry level and mid-level professionals like me. Additionally, their interviews of prominent media professionals are very insightful. I hope the JobsMedia content team posts more stuff like that. I have applied to two jobs posted here, and am about to try out a third and I am very satisfied.  Most of us have little time to do our own job research but this site makes things convenient.  Media professionals have few resources to get information on relevant openings in the sector. For instance, I find little value in media openings listed on Naukri and Monster.

I have been a media professional for the past two years. Due to studying my Master’s, I couldn’t get on with a media job which can sometimes be hectic and grilling. Amidst all this, I wanted to be a freelance writer and thus still be connected to the media sector.

With Jobs Media, I got many such offers and took up many assignments and projects. The site is easy to surf, user friendly, and the content published here is very clear. Thank you Jobs Media !

I think this is the most accurate &amp, incisive job hunting site. It mails me no spam, just posts relevant to my profile. Even though I am a recent user, I love being associated with JobsMedia. Reading their mails is what I look forward to!

I passed out from M.S.University’s Faculty of Journalism and Communication last year and since then I have been regularly accessing JobsMedia. It has been very useful to keep myself as well as my other batchmates updated about media openings. I stay in Vadodara, Gujarat which is a very small town and I suggest that media openings/jobs in such small towns should also be posted on the site because not everyone who accesses this site is from metro cities. I do understand that this is a bit of a task but I would appreciate if you keep in mind my suggestion.

Otherwise, JobsMedia is among the best sites for those hunting for media jobs.

Everytime my mobile rings the SMS tone and I recognize that the number belongs to JobsMedia’s alerts, I have an instant urge to open that message which is going to determine my next interview session. Let me tell you, you guys simply rock! We usually don’t get time to surf the net for job-hunting and this one is simply an awesome platform dedicated only to the media professionals.

This is far ahead of job portals like Naukri and Monster. I actually look forward to the new posts on this website and at times I get disappointed when I don’t find any update. So, ensure that there is an update everytime one logs on to the website.

Jobs Media is exactly how the world is today, fast, easy and democratic. It has such easy access to info for both the media professionals and entrepreneurs. It is definitely a boon to new startups like our won, Escribes Publications. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

Jobs Media is the one-stop portal for most of us in the media industry today. Authentic, pan-Indian and targetted posts make it a valuable resource for a job seeker. Experienced professionals and freshers alike are sure to find ample opportunities advertised here, just like myself and many others I know did. Regular updation and a very clean design also make it a user friendly page. My best wishes for further success of this portal…

Post passing out from the media college, I, like ever other candidate, searched for internship. The luck was not by my side. It took me 5-6 months to even grab the position of an ‘intern’. One day, while surfing the net, I came across jobsmedia.in and rest is history – Right now, I am working for NBS News, Noida as Deputy Web Editor!

Thanks to jobsmedia.in. Keep up the good work!!!
